  • >>RHS will be offering the College Board SAT Preparation Course on Saturday, February 21, Saturday, February 28, and Saturday, March 4 from 9:00 am - 12:00 noon. The cost is $55.00 and scholarships are available to those who qualify. For more information and to sign up, download this sheet and return to Mrs. Bohnstedt in Guidance by Wednesday, February 18.

  • >>The Center for Gifted Education is accepting registrations for the spring Saturday/Summer Enrichment Program (SEP). The program will begin on Saturday, February 21, 2015, and will run for five consecutive Saturday sessions.
     
    SEP is an academically challenging program with an emphasis on inquiry-based learning for students enrolled in Grades K-11 which recognizes the importance of allowing able youngsters to explore additional specialized areas of science, mathematics, humanities, and the arts.

  • >>The University of Virginia announces the 37th year of its residential summer program for gifted and/or high ability students. Students enrolled in grades 4-10 during the 2014-2015 school year may apply to attend one of three twelve-day sessions:
    • Session I: June 21st - July 22nd, 2015
    • Session II: July 5th - July 16th, 2015
    • Session III: July 19th - July 30th, 2015
    Applications for the summer program are available on the website listed below and are due on February 15th.

The RHS Webstore is available to pay class dues, sports fees, and other bills associated with school. Please note: There is a 5.5% fee for using this site.
 

  • Due inclement weather, SCPS will be closed Tuesday, January 27, 2015: 12-month Employees are Code 2 as safety permits.  The Make-up day will be February 16, 2015.

      IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING PASS

     

    In February 2015, Spotsylvania County Public Schools will transition to a new student information system to replace the current system that will no longer be supported.  When we launch the new student information system, PASS will be replaced by ParentVue. 

     

    The new parent portal ParentVue will provide parents access to their student’s schedules, grades, attendance, and student information.  More information regarding specific dates and instructions about ParentVue will be shared in the upcoming weeks.
